Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Gatunek szeroko rozpowszechniony w środkowej i północnej Europie, na zachód sięgający do wschodniej Francji, a na południe do północnych Włoch 1 Półwyspu Bałkańskiego, notowany również z Syberii. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górskich, sięgając w Fennoskandii daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, a w Alpach do około 2500 m n.p.m. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, lecz nie znany jeszcze z wielu krain. Zasiedla wilgotne środowiska w lasach i na terenach otwartych. Poławiany wśród mchów, pod kamieniami rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi i napływkami.
