Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek rozpowszechniony prawie w całej Europie, zwłaszcza w jej części zachodniej, poza tym notowany z Algerii i Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych stanowisk zarówno na terenach nizinnych jak i na podgórzach. Znajdowany zwykle pod rozkładającą się roślinnością, na padlinie, zwłaszcza żab i ryb, a na wiosnę na kwiatach.
