Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1980:

Gatunek szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie (prócz skrajnych prowincji Fennoskandii), na południe sięgający do północnej Afryki, a na wschód do Syberii. W Polsce gatunek pospolity, występujący w lasach różnych typów, zarówno na niżu, jak i w górach. Znajdowany w ściółce, pod opadłym listowiem, wśród mchów porastających stare pniaki, pod kamieniami, w grzybach i pod padliną. Postać dorosła ukazuje się w końcu lipca i w sierpniu, przezimowuje. Niższe postacie rozwojowe opisał z Polski A. Szujecki (1960).
