Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek pospolity, szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w Europie (oprócz skrajnych północnych prowincji Fennoskandii), notowany też z Afryki Północnej, Kaukazu, Iranu, Afganistanu, wschodniej Indii i zachodnich Himalajów. W Polsce występuje od Bałtyku po Tatry, ale nie notowany jest jeszcze z wielu krain. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych, gdzie dociera do strefy subalpejskiej. Żyje w grzybach i hubach kilkunastu gatunków — licznie znajdowany bywa w żagwi łuskowatej — Polyporus squamosus (Huds.) Fr. oraz w różnych gatunkach z rodzajów: pieniążek — Collybia (Fr.) Quél., opieńka — Armillariella P. Karst i mleczaj — Lactarius (Fr.) S. F. Gray.
