Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem prawie całą Europę, północna granica rozsiedlenia przebiega przez Holandię, Danię i południową Finlandię, a dalej na wschód przez dorzecze Donu do przedgórza Kaukazu. W Polsce, choć nie znany jeszcze z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju prócz wyższych partii górskich. Poławiany od wiosny do lipca na miejscach piaszczystych porośniętych niską roślinnością i na nasłonecznionych zboczach pagórków. Roślina żywicielska nie jest znana.
