Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1990b:

Gatunek zamieszkujący południową i środkową część Europy, na północ docierający do Bawarii, Turyngii, Sudetów, Karpat i Podola. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadki, notowany tylko z dwóch krain; dane o znalezieniu tego gatunku, przeszło sto lat temu, w Beskidzie Zachodnim, wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Występuje w środowiskach kserotermicznych na różnych gatunkach roślin motylkowatych (Papilionaceae). Postacie dorosłe poławiano od maja do sierpnia.
