Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1990b:

Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem południową i środkową część Europy, notowany poza tym z południowej Finlandii, Karelii i Syberii Zachodniej. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju, ale brak jest jeszcze udokumentowanych danych o jego występowaniu w niektórych krainach. Zasiedla wilgotne pobrzeża lasów, zarośli, łąk oraz zalewiska rzeczne i przydroża. Żeruje na różnych gatunkach wierzb, głównie na wierzbie białej — Salix alba L.
