Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Gatunek północnopalearktyczny, rozmieszczony od Irlandii przez Fennoskandię po północną część ZSRR aż do Kamczatki. W Polsce nie występuje (Tenenbaum 1923); wykazany z Sopotu na podstawie jednego żywego osobnika, schwytanego w r 1911 na brzegu morskim, gdzie był prawdopodobnie zawleczony (Kniephof 1935); dane o występowaniu na Pojezierzu Mazurskim polegają na mylnym oznaczeniu Pterostichus oblongopunctatus (Fabr.) (Czwalina 1888, Seidlitz 1894); z uwagi na ogólne rozmieszczenie na Śląsku na pewno nie występuje.
