Taxon description
Gatunek kosmopolityczny, w Europie sięgający daleko poza koła podbiegunowe. W Polsce spotykany na ogół sporadycznie i dość rzadko, tylko na Śląsku częściej obserwowany. Występuje głównie na terenach nizinnych i podgórskich, w ogrodach i na polach, przeważnie w dużych pryzmach kompostowych, pod wyplewionym, gnijącym zielskiem, pod odchodami bydlęcymi i wśród nawozu.
