Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek obejmuje swym zasięgiem Prowincję Śródziemnomorską i południową Europę. Ani w Polsce, ani w sąsiadujących krajach z całą pewnością nie stwierdzony. O występowaniu w byłych Prusach wątpi G. G. Jakobson (1911) i A. Horion (1949); ten ostatni autor przypuszcza, że błędnie był oznaczony gatunek Platysoma angustatum (Hoffm.). O występowaniu w Białowieży i w ogóle w Polsce wątpi S. Mazur (1973c). Wykazywany jako żerujący pod korą jodły i buka oraz sosen Pinus maritimus Lamb. i Pinus nigra Arnold.
