Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony prawie w całej Europie z wyjątkiem skrajnych prowincji północnych Fennoskandii, notowany również z Syberii. W Polsce spotykany rzadko i sporadycznie zarówno na nizinach jak i w górach. Znajdowany pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, zwłaszcza pod gnijącymi grzybami, przy wyciekającym soku z drzew, wśród mchów i pod napływkami.
