Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w całej Europie.
Gatunek prawdopodobnie holocykliczny. Żyje na korzeniach jaskra — Ranunculus repens L., zwykle nad brzegami wód. Kolonie tego gatunku nie są odwiedzane przez mrówki.
