Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Mało znany gatunek, opisany z Dalmacji. Notowano go z nielicznych stanowisk we Francji, w Austrii Dolnej, Burgenlandzie i na Morawach. W Polsce nie jest stwierdzony w sposób pewny; wykazany tylko z dwu krain, ale dane te najprawdopodobniej dotyczą Pseudorchestes smreczynskii (Dieckm.) (Mroczkowski i Stefańska 1992, Wanat 1994). Występuje na suchych i ciepłych miejscach — na łąkach, zboczach, przydrożach i w zaroślach. Żyje na chabrze driakiewniku — Centaurea scabiosa L. Larwa żeruje w czerwcu-lipcu w blaszce liściowej, wytwarzając brunatną, nieregularną minę, w której przepoczwarcza się w okrągłym kokonie utworzonym z własnych wydzielin.

Mało znany gatunek, opisany z Dalmacji, notowany dotychczas z nielicznych stanowisk we Francji, w Austrii Dolnej, Burgenlandzie, na Morawach i Litwie. Z Polski podany niedawno z jednego stanowiska, bez danych szczegółowych odnośnie okoliczności złowienia tego gatunku.
