Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek zasiedlający strefę górską i subalpejską w części środkowej i wschodniej Alp. W Polsce nie występuje. Według A. Horiona (1941) wzmianki K. Letznera (1871, 1881, 1885) o występowaniu omawianego gatunku na Śląsku należy odnieść do Pterostichus (Pseudorthomus) unctulatus (Duft.), gdyż w zbiorze tego badacza tylko ten gatunek występuje. Z uwagi na ogólne rozmieszczenie również wszystkie inne doniesienia z naszych terenów są niewiarogodne.
