Taxon description
Mało znany gatunek środkowoeuropejski, notowany ze wschodniej Francji, Austrii, Czech, Moraw i Słowacji (Lucht 1987). W Polsce stwierdzony przez J.K. Młynarskiego w Zwierzyńcu oraz na kilku nie wymienionych stanowiskach. Biologia nie jest poznana, według K. Kocha (1989) miejscem jego występowania są buczyny, a siedliskami rozkładające się drewno pniaków bukowych oraz gniazda mrówek Lasius Fabr. i Formica L.
