Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1980:
Pospolity, szeroko rozpowszechniony gatunek palearktyczny, występujący w prawie całej Europie (prócz skrajnych prowincji północnych Fennoskandii). W Polsce, chociaż nie znany jeszcze ze wszystkich krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze. Zamieszkuje zarówno obszary leśne, jak i otwarte, wilgotne przestrzenie. Znajdowany pod obluźnioną korą, wśród mchów, pod kamieniami, rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi i w gnieździe kretów.
