Burakowski et al. 1976:

Gatunek szeroko rozsiedlony w środkowej i północnej Europie, notowany również z Syberii i Ameryki Północnej, w Fennoskandii sięga do skrajnej północy. W Polsce występuje głównie na terenach nizinnych, najczęściej w wodach kwaśnych, w niniejszych zbiornikach, na terenach leśnych i na torfowiskach.
