Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Gatunek środkowoeuropejski, wkraczający do Francji, Belgii, północnych Włoch i Bułgarii. W Polsce znany z jedenastu krain, na ogół z pojedynczych stanowisk, jedynie ze Śląska Dolnego, Wyżyny Krakowsko-Wieluńskiej i Wyżyny Lubelskiej notowany z większej liczby miejscowości. Spotykany na polach, przydrożach, murawach, żwirowiskach i ciepłych zboczach. Żyje na lnicy pospolitej — Linaria vulgaris (L.) Mill. i lnicy kreskowanej — L. repens (L.) Mill. Larwa żeruje w torebkach nasiennych. Imagines poławiano na roślinach od maja do sierpnia.
