Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Gatunek motyla dość pospolity, pojawia się w jednym pokoleniu od V do VII, a w przypadku korzystnych warunków atmosferycznych w drugim, częściowym pokoleniu w VIII. Gąsienice żerują na niektórych roślinach zielnych, jak np. bylica, krwawnik, szałwia. Gatunek ten zimuje w stadium gąsienicy, która na wiosnę zakopuje się płytko w ziemi i zamienia w poczwarkę.
