Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Szeroko rozprzestrzeniony gatunek palearktyczny, w Fennoskandii sięgający do skrajnych prowincji północnych, notowany również z Ameryki Północnej. Występuje w świeżych ekskrementach, zwłaszcza w bydlęcych odchodach na pastwiskach.
