Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1995:
Gatunek rozmieszczony od południowej części Europy Środkowej po basen Morza Śródziemnego. W Polsce należy do rzadkości — jest znany z nielicznych stanowisk w tylko trzech krainach. Postacie dojrzałe spotykano na bagnistych łąkach, mokrych pastwiskach, pobrzeżach stawów i jezior. Bionomia poznana niedostatecznie. We Francji larwy znaleziono w korzeniach Arundo donax L., rośliny u nas nie występującej.
