Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1979:

Gatunek szeroko rozpowszechniony w północnej części Palearktyki, w Europie na północ sięga daleko poza koło podbiegunowe, a na południe do Francji, środkowych Włoch i Jugosławii. Na ogół wszędzie pospolity, również w Polsce, zwłaszcza w południowej części kraju. Występuje na obszarach nizinnych i górskich aż do strefy subalpejskiej; znajdowany przeważnie na pobrzeżach wód, wilgotnych łąkach i polanach śródleśnych oraz na torfowiskach.
