Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Rzadko spotykany gatunek we wschodniej i środkowej części Europy, docierający izolowanymi stanowiskami do Francji południowej i wschodniej oraz Szwajcarii; jako zawleczony notowany z Finlandii, Syberii i Turkiestanu. W Polsce nadzwyczaj rzadko znajdowany, notowany z pojedynczych stanowisk w czterech krainach południowych, od przeszło 60 lat nie poławiany. Znajdowany w owocnikach hub rosnących na bukach, lipach, topolach i orzechach. We Francji znaleziony w owocniku żagwi ciemnonogiej — Polyporus melanopus (Swartz.) ex Fr.
