Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 2000:

Gatunek opisany ze Szwecji przed przeszło 200 laty, ale mało znany, gdyż do niedawna uważany za synonim pospolitego Tachyporus chrysomelinus (L.), występującego razem w tych samych siedliskach, również w Polsce (t. 7, str. 192). Rozsiedlony prawdopodobnie w całej północnej i środkowej Europie. W Polsce stwierdzony na podstawie pięciu okazów złowionych na trzech stanowiskach. Występuje na terenach lesistych i otwartych, na niżu i w górach; spotykany wśród mchów, w ściółce, pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, w kompoście i napływkach.
