Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1997:
Gatunek zamieszkujący południową, środkową i wschodnią część Europy. W Polsce należy do rzadkości faunistycznych — jest znany tylko z trzech krain. Występuje na mokrych łąkach, bagnach, pobrzeżach wód, w rowach i zaroślach, zwłaszcza w okolicach podgórskich. Żyje na czyśćcu błotnym — Stachys palustris L. W liściastych lasach i zaroślach bywa spotykany niekiedy również na czyśćcu leśnym — S. silvatica L. Bionomia i cykl rozwojowy tego gatunku, jak i innych omawianego rodzaju, nie są poznane. Według M. Wanata* spotyka się go również w miejscach suchych, nawet na murawach kserotermicznych.
