Taxon description
Gatunek znany we Francji z Alp Nadmorskich i Wogezów, północnych Włoch, Austrii, południowych i środkowych Niemiec, na Węgrzech, Morawach i Słowacji, notowany nadto z Użhorodu na Ukrainie. Z Polski wykazany z pojedynczego stanowiska na podstawie jednego osobnika schwytanego na kwiatach wiązówki błotnej — Filipendula ulmaria (L.) Maxim. Biologia słabo poznana. We Francji rozwój larwalny odbywa w starych pniakach olszy — Alnus Mill. Imagines poławiano zwykle na ciepłych zboczach i pobrzeżach lasu, na kwiatach krzewów i roślin zielnych.
