Taxon description
Kawecki 1985:
Gatunek występujący w Afryce (sawanna kontynentalna), od południowej Rodezji do Sudanu, skąd penetruje do strefy saharyjskiej. Żywicielami są rośliny z rodzin Moraceae, Meliaceae, Bignoniaceae; w Polsce w szklarni zebrany na palmie Chamaerops L.
