Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Gatunek palearktyczny, jeden z najpospolitszych u nas pająków. Żyje wśród traw i ziół, na krzewach i wśród liści drzew. W Tatrach spotykany do wysokości 2200 m n. p.m.
