Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie, szczególnie częsty na północy i w górach. Dane pozaeuropejskie odnoszą się do innych podgatunków.
Gatunek jednodomny i holocykliczny, wilgociolubny. Żyje na spodniej stronie liści i na rozwijających się liściach wietlicy samiczej — Athyrium filix-femina (L.) Roth, a tylko wyjątkowo na innych paprociach.
