Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Rzadki gatunek, znany w Europie z Francji, Szwajcarii, Niemiec, Austrii, Jugosławii, Czechosłowacji, Rumunii, Danii, Szwecji, Norwegii, Finlandii i Rosji oraz z Syberii, Sachalinu, Kanady i Stanów Zjednoczonych. Żyje w górskich lasach świerkowych, na wysokościach do 1000 m n.p.m. Na nizinach spotykany jedynie sporadycznie.
