Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w południowej, zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, notowany także z Azji Mniejszej i Afryki Północnej. W Polsce, choć nie znany jeszcze z wielu krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze; prócz Sudetów notowany na ogół z pojedynczych stanowisk. Występuje zarówno na terenach nizinnych, jak i górzystych, w szybko płynących strumieniach i rzekach. Poławiany pod kamieniami i wśród mchów wodnych.
