Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej, środkowej i południowej części Europy, notowany też z Algierii. W Polsce wykazywany z nielicznych stanowisk w czterech krainach. Występuje w suchych lasach, zwłaszcza sosnowych, w zaroślach i na wrzosowiskach. Rośliną żywicielską tego gatunku jest janowiec włosisty — Genista pilosa L. Larwy żerują w strączkach. Postacie dojrzałe zimują w glebie lub w strączkach.
