Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w prawie całej Europie z wyjątkiem północnej części Fennoskandii, notowany również z Kaukazu i środkowej Azji. W Polsce choć nie wykazany ze wszystkich krain prawdopodobnie występuje wszędzie z wyjątkiem wysokich gór. Spotykany niekiedy gromadnie pod padliną, ekskrementami, gnijącymi szczątkami roślinnymi i w pryzmach kompostowych.
