Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek o niedostatecznie znanym rozmieszczeniu, wykazywany głównie z południowej części Europy, notowany również z nielicznych stanowisk w środkowej Europie oraz w Danii. W Polsce jest chrząszczem nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykanym, nie łowionym od roku 1921. Według S. Mazura (1973c) w Polsce nie występuje; dane z Legnicy i ogólnikowe z Karkonoszy oparte o dawne znaleziska, powinny być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Występuje w gnijącym drewnie, pryzmach kompostowych oraz w grzybach.
