Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w zachodniej, południowej i środkowej Europie, wykazywany też z Algierii. W Polsce nadzwyczaj rzadki, notowany z pojedynczych stanowisk w dwu krainach. Zasiedla głównie tereny wapienne i zbocza kserotermiczne. Jako roślinę żywicielską piśmiennictwo podaje posłonka siwego — Helianthemum canum (L.) Baumg. Postacie dojrzałe spotyka się także na kwiatach mniszka pospolitego — Taraxacum officinale Web., pięciornika rozłogowego — Potentilla reptans L. i poziomki pospolitej — Fragaria vesca L.
