Taxon description
Gatunek rozsiedlony od Wysp Brytyjskich, środkowych prowincji Fennoskandii oraz Karelii do północnych części Hiszpanii, Włoch i Półwyspu Bałkańskiego; ku wschodowi do Zakaukazia i zachodniej Syberii. W Polsce rzadko spotykany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk. Roślina żywicielska larw nie znana, postacie dojrzałe poławiano od maja do sierpnia na kwitnących krzewach i kwiatach niektórych roślin zielnych.
