Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1992:

Gatunek rozsiedlony od Wysp Brytyjskich, Danii i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii do krajów śródziemnomorskich, wykazywany poza tym z Algierii Syrii, Azji Środkowej, Syberii i Mongolii. W Polsce, aczkolwiek nie jest znany z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, prócz wyższych partii górskich. Spotykany na łąkach, pastwiskach, suchych wzgórzach i w zaroślach. Żyje na komonicy zwyczajnej — Lotus corniculatus L., groszku żółtym — Lathyrus pratensis L. i groszku leśnym — L. silvester L. Larwa żeruje w strączkach, gdzie wyżera nasiona. Świeżo wylęgnięte imagines spotykano od połowy sierpnia do połowy października.
