Taxon description
Gatunek palearktyczny, rozpowszechniony w prawie całej Europie, na północy docierający do Wysp Brytyjskich i południowych części Fennoskandii. W Polsce szeroko rozmieszczony, ale na ogół rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany. Występuje na polach, łąkach, wrzosowiskach i pobrzeżach lasu, pod ekskrementami, padliną, w gnijących grzybach i rozkładających się szczątkach roślinnych.
