Taxon description
Gatunek znany głównie z północnej i środkowej Europy, sięgający do zachodniej Francji i północnych Włoch, w miarę posuwania się z północy na południe coraz rzadziej spotykany. W Polsce dość rzadko i sporadycznie znajdowany. Charakterystyczny gatunek wilgociolubny, występuje w ściółce i wśród mchów w lasach i na torfowiskach, pod gnijącymi roślinami i mchem, w kępach turzyc na łąkach bagnistych i pobrzeżach wód.
