Taxon description
Szeroko rozprzestrzeniony gatunek palearktyczny, notowany ponadto z Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce prócz wyższych partii górskich występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, ale nie znany jest jeszcze z wielu krain. Poławiany przeważnie w wilgotnych środowiskach pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, napływkami, wśród mchów, rzadziej w kompoście i nawozie.
