Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1974:

Gatunek rozsiedlony w zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, wykazywany również z Azorów, Wysp Brytyjskich i dwu południowych prowincji Szwecji. Gatunek wilgociolubny, zamieszkujący tereny bagienne i torfowiskowe zarówno na otwartych jak i na leśnych obszarach. Spotykany głównie wśród mchów z rodzaju Sphagnum Ehrhardt, również pod butwiejącymi liśćmi trzcin nad zbiornikami wodnymi.
