Taxon description
Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu ogólnym, wykazywany jedynie z Polski. Makólski (1952) sądzi, że u nas jest to «dement pochodzenia polnocnego», w okolicy Warszawy rzadko, ale nieraz licznie spotykany na jesieni. Żyje na suchych terenach piaszczystych, głównie na wydmach pochodzenia lodowcowego, dotychczas znajdowany tylko w piasku przy korzeniach Artemisia campestris L.
