Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w środkowej i częściowo w południowej części Europy (nie znany z południowych obszarów Francji i Włoch), wykazywany poza tym z Syberii, gdzie dociera do Jeniseju. W Polsce chrząszcz rzadko notowany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk w 10 krainach. Bionomia poznana niedostatecznie. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano od maja do sierpnia na kwitnących roślinach — dereniach (Cornus L.), tawułach (Spiraea L.), ostrożeniach (Cirsium Mill.), złocieniach (Chrysanthemum L.) oraz baldaszkowatych (Umbelliferae).
