Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Gatunek mało znany, opisany przed 110 laty z Dalmacji, zasiedlający Europę Południową, skąd po 1950 r. rozprzestrzenił się w kierunku północnym; notowany z Czechosłowacji, północno-zachodnich Niemiec, Danii i południowej Szwecji. W Polsce niedawno stwierdzony w trzech krainach. Występuje w pryzmach kompostowych, w pleśniejącym sianie i zielsku, gnijących odpadach kory i starej słomie. Niekiedy łowiony w dużej liczbie osobników; w Dzierawach 3 XI 1993 r. wysiano 78 okazów ze starej nadpalonej słomy.
