Taxon description
Gatunek hygrofilny, zasiedlający niziny w prawie całej Europie z wyjątkiem skrajnej północnej części, znany też z Kaukazu i zachodniej Syberii. Żyje na gliniasto-mulistych pobrzeżach stojących lub wolno płynących wód, szczególnie w miejscach silniej zacienionych.
