Kuśka 1995:

W Polsce łowiony od końca maja do lipca.
zachodnioeuropejski; na południu występuje w Hiszpanii, (Solyniere, Sierra Nevada, 2800 m npm, 4 ok., 9 VII 1986. leg. A. Warchałowski); Francji, Wielkiej Brytanii (locus typicus), Szwajcarii (Balsthal Solothurn, 21 VI 1980, leg. B. i H. Malkin), w Niemczech i południowej Szwecji. W Katalogu Fauny Polski (Burakowski i in. 1985) z Polski nie wykazany.

Burakowski et al. 2000:

Gatunek zachodnioeuropejski rozmieszczony od Hiszpanii, Francji i Anglii po Danię, kraje Beneluksu, Szwajcarię, Skanię w południowej Szwecji oraz zachodnie regiony Polski i Mazury. Z Polski wykazany niedawno z nielicznych stanowisk w sześciu krainach. Zasiedla pobrzeża lasu, wrzosowiska, suche zbocza i wydmy nadmorskie. Bionomia nie jest poznana. W Polsce imagines poławiano od końca maja do lipca na roślinności zielnej; chrząszcze wykazują dużą lotność, na Pobrzeżu Bałtyku i Pojezierzu Pomorskim do pułapki świetlnej złowiono 38 samców i 15 samic.
