Taxon description
Gatunek mało znany, o niedostatecznie poznanym rozsiedleniu; notowany z nielicznych stanowisk w południowo-wschodniej części środkowej Europy, Ukraińskiej SRR i południowo-zachodnich dzielnic Rosyjskiej Federacyjnej Republiki Radzieckiej. Z Polski wykazany jednorazowo z jednej tylko miejscowości. Zaliczony został do chrząszczy krajowych przez M. Łomnickiego (1913), natomiast zupełnie pominięty w kluczu do oznaczania stonek polskich przez A. Warchałowskiego (1978). Poławiany zwykle na krwawnikach — Achillea L.
