Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek rozsiedlony w prawie całej południowej i środkowej Europie, na północy sięgający do południowej Skandynawii i Litewskiej SRR. W Polsce występuje prawdopodobnie na całym obszarze, aczkolwiek nie wykazany jeszcze z kilku krain nizinnych, Pienin i Tatr. Znajdowany przeważnie na padlinie i rozkładających się grzybach, rzadziej w przedsionkach jaskiń i w norach ssaków.
