Taxon description
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony w południowej i środkowej części Europy. W Polsce znany z nielicznych, rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Łowiony od kwietnia do września, przeważnie na miedzach, ugorach, suchych zboczach i nasypach. Jako rośliny żywicielskie podawano różne gatunki lnic — Linaria Mill., a także kilka rodzajów z rodziny wargowych — Labiatae, co wymaga jeszcze potwierdzenia.
