Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek rozsiedlony od Wysp Brytyjskich, północnej części Fennoskandii przez całą Europę środkową aż do Hiszpanii północnej, Włoch środkowych i Bułgarii. W Polsce rozsiedlony od Bałtyku aż po Tatry, ale stosunkowo rzadko notowany, nie znany jeszcze z kilku krain. Zamieszkuje zarówno tereny nizinne, jak i górzyste, gdzie dociera do wysokości około 2000 ni n.p.m. Występuje na łąkach łęgowych, wśród wilgotnych, mchów i w napływkach w strefie zalewu i rozprysku nad wodami stojącymi, rzadziej bieżącymi.
